Nigerian Students’ Union UK (NSUUK) in partnership with Society for life and Human Development Initiative Benue State will be mobilising various items to support victims of the recent damaging floods in Makurdi Benue State Nigeria.

As we are all aware or maybe not, there has been a devastating flood that is currently ravaging some communities in Benue State Nigeria. An estimated 110,000 people have reportedly been left homeless while three were confirmed dead by the flood. Apart from rendering thousands homeless, the disaster also washed away villages, farmlands and food storage facilities among others.

The current disaster has sacked communities in Makurdi, Apa, Agatu, Otukpo, Guma, Buruku, Tarka and Kasina-Ala Local Government Areas of the state.

We are soliciting for your kind financial donations and donations in form of clothing, used and unused but in good and clean condition, shoes, bags, toys etc.

Monetary Donations will be used in paying for shipping goods to Nigeria, transporting goods to IDP’s and donating to IDP’s and victims.

All received items from the UK will be handed over to our coordinating partner (Society for life and Human Development Initiative) in Benue state.
